For clients 18 years of age and older, a valid state or government issued ID is required to receive a piercing. Most commonly, this will be a driver's license, permit, state ID card, or passport. For minors 13-17 years of age, we need a state or government issued ID for the minor, state or government issued ID for the parent or legal guardian, and a birth certificate. If you're a legal guardian of a minor and not their biological parent, you'll need to bring your court issued guardianship documents. If you book from home, you can upload documentation and ID photos to our release form prior to your appointment.
No. For insurance and liability purposes, we can only pierce people with unworn and sterilized jewelry provided by our store. We cannot verify the material or wear level of jewelry that is brought to us, which will jeopardize the safety of your service.
The least expensive jewelry will vary depending on what piercing it's for; various piercings require different base level sizes or styles. Typically, jewelry starts at $110 per piece and rises from there. The price range of our stock is vast, we encourage people to stop by and inquire while browsing the cases.
All of our inventory is made of solid 14 karat yellow, rose, and white gold. For studs, all pieces attach to either a threaded or threadless flatback made of ASTM F-136 implant grade titanium. Solid gold backings are available for order but are unnecessarily costly for fresh piercings.
BVLA has a lifetime warranty and guarantee for all of their products. In the event that a piece needs a repair, it will be sent to BVLA and repaired at no cost to you. If your jewelry falls out due to a suspected defect, please do your best to recover it. We cannot send the piece back for repairs if we don't have it, and do not offer refunds on lost items. This same policy applies to our titanium vendors that we utilize to supply our backings.
We do! However, we always strongly encourage booking an appointment through our booking site. Walk-ins are subjected to unknown wait times while appointments are ensured immediate service. Additionally, online bookings are far more likely to ensure that you're aware of our policies beforehand.
Appointment prepayments cover the cost of their respective service fees. When you come to your appointment, the only thing you'll be paying for at checkout will be the jewelry you choose.
Appointments can be made up to 30 days in advance and have a cancellation/rescheduling window of 12 hours from your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule within that time frame, you will not be penalized and will be refunded if you cancel. However, our system allows you to book as soon as 1 hour in advance to the appointment time, so be careful when booking last minute/same-day appointments. We've chosen to allow same-day bookings for clients to have access to time-sensitive and urgent services, but they will all be outside of the cancellation window. Be sure before you book! No-call no-shows will not be refunded.
After taking Exit 22 from I-95, turn on North Benson Road until you reach the Post Road intersection. Head south on Post Road until you see the TVeyes building. Our shop is located on Lantern Hill, accessible by the access road in front of the TVeyes building, a slight turn from the Post Road.
